Award-Winning Assemblage Sculpture

Caught in mid-flight, Ace is a one-of-a-kind assemblage sculpture built from reclaimed industrial and vintage components. A vintage twin lens camera gives Ace his unmistakable face, while a vintage voltmeter forms his body. Salvaged steel, springs, gears and mechanical components complete his dynamic, airborne form.

Ace was selected for the 2026 Manitoba Society of Artists Members Juried Exhibition where Michael R Beaudry received an Award of Distinction for this work. Michael also received an Honorable Mention in the 2026 Society of Canadian Artists National Open Juried Exhibition for this work.
